About

I grew up surrounded by handmade things. My family provided me with lessons and materials to learn and fall in love with fine craft.  Mom’s and grandma’s interests ran toward textiles, while dad and grandpa were builders.  Now I work with silver, enamel, stones, beads and silk to make beautiful jewelry.  Using nature as my inspiration,  Cloisonné enameling and Kumihimo braiding have captured my interest lately.

Jewelry can be worn on the body, kept as an heirloom, collected, gifted, admired, and moved from place to place. It can be changed according to your mood, location, and company. It holds memories near and dear. I make heirloom jewelry with traditional techniques, yet designed for today.
